Informal Auto-Bio:

I’d rather be outside.

That’s almost always true for me. But I also enjoy writing and online marketing and these things pull me back inside.

Kristin and I enjoy each other’s company deeply, and have become best friends. (Check out the post “I Didn’t Marry My Best Friend“.) We just like hanging out together, canoeing, cross country skiing, and even, as I have slowly worn her down, hunting!

Our children and their spouses continually amaze us with their wisdom; and our first two grandchildren have reoriented our lives.

We love the Lord and his Church, and believe that anything that really matters will be connected to Him and Her.

We are passionate about simplicity, sustainability and stewardship.

We believe that life is The Great Adventure and that the best is yet to come.
